What we do here:

As a student of several different sciences, I’ve often found myself in awe of the amazing consequences of the nature of our world.  These thoughts make me stop and really appreciate how far mankind has come, and unfortunately, what troubles we may have brought with us.  It is these thoughts and moments that I want to share with you, the reader, and my purpose is two-fold: first, I could die happy if for even a split-second, you were just as awed as I have been about these topics; second, I want to introduce these concepts from the perspective of a non-science person.  I was a musician for 20 years and couldn’t care less about sciences and math, but now that I’m making the transition, I feel that these concepts, which people often consider complex, can be reasonably taught to anyone, regardless of age.  All it takes is the right words and phrasing to convey points that might otherwise get lost in the semantics of professional writings.

In short, I want you to be wowed, and I want you to understand why.
